Morning Show

Hometown: Henryville, Indiana, the home of Colonel Sanders. He has a plaque on Aunt Margie's land right off the highway exit.
First concert: The Rolling Stones at Rupp Arena. I'll never forget Mick rolling out that long tongue..
Favorite food: Oh, please....who can pick just one thing!
Name one tune that’s in "Recently played" on your iPod:"Rocks" by Primal Scream. I listen to that while doing chin ups at the gym.
Last book read: "The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency". Precious Ramotswe rules!
Last movie seen:"The Hangover". Best line...."oooholler blading with no knee pads."
Favorite childhood memory about your mother or father: I'm one of six kids and we drove my mom nuts. Seriously. She used to threaten to drive us off a cliff if we didn't settle down. We did.
What makes you laugh? Stupid people. Oh, I forgot. That's not politically correct.
Cats or dogs? Come on now. You've seen my dog Butch. What do you think?
Latest accomplishment: Painted my own toenails and stayed within the lines!
Why I do what I do: It's fun. What other reason is there?

Saturday Night with JD Jackson!

Hometown: South Weymouth, Massachusetts....let's just say Boston, it makes me sound more "uptown".
First concert: Earth Wind and Fire. What did you expect from the host of Kansas City's biggest retro party?
Favorite food: Barbecue.
Name one tune that’s in "Recently played" on your iPod: Some great retro tune like "Disco Inferno" by the Trammps.
Last book read: I can't seem to find the time to make it all the way through a book before they make it into a movie, and then, I'm at the 8 PM showing.
Last movie seen: The last two or three were so bad I can't even remember the titles---really. I'm not going to any more movies until after the Oscars.
Current Hobby: I'm quite the prestidigitator. That's a fancy word for magician that I like to use because it doesn't make me sound like a geeky pull-a-quarter-out-of-your-ear dude. Think David Blaine or Criss Angel.
What makes you laugh? Steve Carrell, George Costanza on Seinfeld.
Cats or dogs? Like it really matters....you're still going to be picking up poop from the floor. Actually, I'm a big animal lover. If a bear were going to eat me, I would probably still pet it first.
What celebrity crushes: Cameron Diaz. I should probably start returning her calls.
Latest accomplishment: Duping the guys here to hire me....uh, I mean landing an airshift with Kansas City's favorite radio station, KUDL!
Why I do what I do: I used to build miniature Radio Shack radio transmitters when I was a kid, and tried to have my own radio show. But they would only broadcast my voice ten feet. It was then that I set my sights on having 100,000 watts of power behind me. So, I do this because I love radio! And, to try to impress the women....uh, did I say that out loud?
